  1. Peter Macdonald says:

Trying to find horizontal slipform used by Uncle about 1960 to build his house in about 250 high by 800 long slipform layers moving sideways around the house. Cavity form on perimeter walls and solid internal walls very close to common brick widths and cavities.Mixed the concrete in a brickies site mixer, cement, sand and about quarter inch gravel. By the time you got around the mix had set enough to support the next layer.I was helping Uncle Helga {a Dane] and his two kids. We were early teenagers. Slipform machine was probably of Scandinavian origin.
Any clues?….Regards, Peter Macdonald [Macca] from country town, Yallourn North, about 150 Kms East of Melbourn
